DoDNA

 

        My biggest musical project was my last band named DoDNA, translated "into DNA" or more freely "bottoms up". It was a Jazz-Funk/Artrock fusion consisting of Tomáš Hriň on a bass, Jakub Mikula on a keyboard, Katka Mikulová on a flute and me on a drums.

        The band was originally formed as a creative cooperation between Jakub and me, whom I knew from highschool. We were later joined by his at the time girlfriend Katka and a bass player Tomáš. 

The first song is a playful funky tune based on initial bass melody i had one day in my head

 

Second song was based on a 7/4 drum pattern into which Jakub created this amazing piano melody
